With a wonderful family of our own, we want everyone to have beautiful artistic memories of their family. We strive to create stylish personalized hand, foot and animal prints of your loved ones. Although most of our business centers around babies under 6 months of age, we offer other designs to document life events, including religious, sports, family and pets. In addition to our offered designs, we love to create custom pieces and are available to discuss your needs.

Emmaly started working with clay as a child. Her family had a pottery wheel in their garage and she always loved clay as her artist medium of choice. After many years of raising our family and running a professional services business, we launched Chic Clay. Kurt has a degree in art & design and started his career in the professional art business. Together, we will design, paint and fire each piece we create for you.

Each ceramic piece is made with non-toxic clay that is safe for all ages, even newborns. Chic Clay uses clay that is fired twice, once for bisque and another after glazing is complete. This is a much more sophisticated, professional process than the clay kits offered by art stores or over the internet. Your completed piece will be treasured forever.

Our designs are created not only to capture the beauty of little hands and feet, but also memorable events in your child's life, from their first homerun, to their baptism and the addition of new family members. To create these beautiful memories, you choose the design and then we take an impression of your child's hand or foot in the soft clay. We take the impression to our studio and start the process of designing, firing and painting. Each piece will take 6-8 weeks to complete.
